Learn more about Alexander
Alexander Bard is a Swedish cyber-philosopher, music producer, television star, and sought- after international speaker. He has given lectures on the philosophical, sociological, and economic implications of the digital revolution since the late 1990s, and been a fundamental force in creating the Swedish music export sensation.
As a social entrepreneur, Bard is deeply involved in a series highly successful technology companies as well as spiritual and political projects. Bard studied Economic Geography at The Stockholm School of Economics in the 1980s while building a highly successful international career as a songwriter and record producer. In 1992 he co-founded Stockholm Records, which quickly achieved global success – with bands like The Cardigans, A-Teens, and Bard’s own Army of Lovers – and in 1998 was sold to and integrated with Universal Music. Even as he was occupied with cyber-philosophy and political activism to find the time for any more song-writing, Bard hit No. 1 on records in Europe, Asia, and North America as recently as 2013.
He is, perhaps unsurprisingly, also a television celebrity in Scandinavia, as the tough judge on the talent shows Swedish Idol and Sweden’s Got Talent. Bard has written five books together with media theorist Jan Söderqvist. The first three titles – The Netocrats, The Global Empire and The Body Machines – have been released together as The Futurica Trilogy and translated into over 20 languages.
A fourth book, Syntheism – Creating God in The Internet Age, released in 2014 and a fifth title, Digital Libido – Sex, Power and Violence in The Network Society, released in 2018. In all the books, Bard & Söderqvist construct a brand new metaphysical system for the digital age, covering everything from the inner existential truths of the new physics to the radical utopian potential of participatory culture.

She is currently the Chair of Neuroscience and Faculty of Medicine at Singularity University. She is also a Visiting Scholar in the Stanford Department of Medicine, and was on the Stanford School of Medicine Faculty for 8 years. Her postdoctoral training at Stanford allowed her to use light-activated ion channels inserted in DNA to study sleep and consciousness switches in brains. In the operating room, she applies EEG technology to understand what human brains look like when they lose and regain consciousness, and has a precision medicine initiative at Stanford aimed at understanding genetic variability in responses to anesthetic drugs. Her goal is to understand neural mechanisms of consciousness, as well as the evolution of human consciousness secondary to human augmentation.
She is working on devices that read the brain in order to screen for neural disease and perform drug and biomarker discovery. Her work in brain mapping and algorithms may enable writing to the brain or interfacing it to machines as well. Finally, her expertise crosses into studies of human longevity. There is no extended human lifespan without the preservation of the brain and mind. How do technologies like brain machine interfaces, human augmentation and cryonics affect the future of human consciousness?

CEO / Founder of Rosette Wellness
Learn more about Harry
With a green thumb from an early age, Harry Rose was inspired and motivated by his parents who encouraged his interests – and his gardening – though they never could have known just how much good would come from it in the future. Harry’s father was a highly regarded mechanical engineer who played a role in NASA’s first lunar mission and is credited with the invention of the EKG machine. This upbringing produced a curiosity for discovery and mastery within Harry that had him tinkering with a Phototron v1 purchased from a High Times Magazine ad and stuffed with budding cannabis camouflaged among the bevy of houseplants right in his own bedroom.
Mr. Rose’s mechanical mind led to an accomplished career in lighting design and engineering which eventually led to contract work with Microsoft to launch the XBOX, with Google to launch its search engine software and Android platform, and Apple then flew him all around the world working on all the latest product reveals for Steve Jobs.
That grind wore him down, though, and the sheer exhaustion and demanding pace ultimately caused Harrys debilitating and near-death condition as he battled a late-stage autoimmune disease.
When western medicine failed, Rose fell back on lessons learned from his father’s process of ‘discovery, test, retest, and redesign’. Through his own research, and some help from a neighbor in Humboldt named Lawrence Ringo, Rose was able to use a CBD-dominant cultivar called Sour Tsunami to formulate a cannabis oil that put his previously untreatable medical condition into complete remission.
Harry continues his commitment to developing the most advanced formulations to assist patients seeking a better quality of life. His personal goal is to provide the world’s safest and most effective cannabis derived medicines and adult use products through his company Rosette Wellness, founded on authenticity and compassion and based out of Eureka, California.

In the mid-90s, Jerry realized the word “consumer” was a linchpin to understanding many of today’s dilemmas. Following “consumer” led him to the concept of trust, specifically the many ways that consumer capitalism has broken trust. More optimistically, he also found groups around the world rediscovering trust to solve thorny problems.
From this mix of movements and ideas, Jerry is creating Design from Trust, a process that can be applied in many different domains.

Learn more about Kip
Kip Tindell is Co-Founder, and past Chairman/CEO
of The Container Store — the original storage and
organization store, which opened its doors in Dallas
in 1978. Today, the company has 90+ stores across
the country with over 10,000 storage and
organization solutions designed to save customers
space and time.
Over the years, the company has been lauded for

employee-first culture. The goal was never growth
for growth’s sake. Rather, it was to adhere to the
company’s seven, values-based Foundation
Principles, which mirror the tenets of Conscious
Capitalism. The Container Store’s quirky, “yummy,”
servant leadership culture landed them on Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to
Work For” 19 years in a row, including #1 twice and #2 twice.
Tindell’s book, UNCONTAINABLE: How Passion, Commitment, and Conscious
Capitalism Built a Business Where Everyone Thrives, has become a handbook
for similarly minded companies and entrepreneurs everywhere.
Over the course of his career, Tindell has been presented with numerous
awards, including Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year, and the National
Retail Federation’s Innovator of the Year and Gold Medal Award. Tindell was

Learn more about Leslie
I can be found in mountain and ocean retreats, board rooms, and global conferences sitting with groups of people small and large as they inquire into the world of possibility and finding their way to deeper and intensely more meaningful connection with themselves and others. This connectivity fuels change-makers in bringing their most evolved selves to cause global transformation. My passion was launched at a young age while facilitating cross cultural understanding between American Peace Corps volunteers and African professionals trying to build sustainable health infrastructure on the Continent. Most of us can be stopped and diverted by our differences, yet I’ve learned both through my own mistakes and humanness about the richness and texture of navigating and building heart-felt relationships across the most profound differences. I have been a student of transformational and conscious leadership practices for over 30 years, and have been exposed some of the most intriguing practices and principles of our human experience. I bring this to my role with my husband as the Master Facilitators for Vortex. Come and be part of the alchemy that happens when we gather, bringing our best selves with our full authenticity and vulnerability in a spirit of growth, connection, alignment and higher purpose. In today’s world, this commitment and skill is one of the most primary access points to personal and professional success.
